Found this in a field near Sortavala. Other finds in that field were Scandinavian brooches and Swedish coins from 1600's. I'd like to date this pendant - is it older than 1400-1500s? I wasn't able to find any similar pieces online. Thank you!

Found this piece of copper with a 3-dot ornament running on the sides. Iron Age jewelry and weapons were found near this find, so maybe this is a piece of a copper bracelet from the Iron Age? Fantastic finds!! The Russian wire money seem to be from Peter the Great. And that is indeed the lower stem of a silver cross.

Found this broken fibula (on the right) in a field near Sortavala, should be around 800-900's. The pendant on the left is probably from 1200-1300s.

That's very cool! I have yet to find one like this, with round ends. I did find one that opens (used to store orthodox relics inside like the Saints' ligaments) - that was a very exciting discovery!
